Senior Project Manager (Application Development)

 

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: FTE - Direct Hire

Salary Range: $120-130k

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical designs. Assists in defining features/functions for software releases. Manages the SDLC for the project, including development, testing, organizational readiness and UAT. Drives project team members to complete deliverables according to project plan. Create deployment plans and manage activities needed to ensure a smooth cutover.

Skillset:
  • 7 + years Project Management experience
  • 5+ years dedicated to IT projects with a heavy focus on App Dev Projects
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall projects
  • Financial Project Experience
  • Experience building and managing project budgets and understands how to separate Cap vs Opps cost
  • Professional presentation experience to internal, external and C-Level stakeholders

Additional skills (not required):
  • Any PMI certs
  • Portfolio Management tools experience (ServiceNow Preferred)
  • SmartSheets experience
  • Experience implementing Agile into a waterfall environment
  • Experience with projects focused in the following areas:
    • Custom application work vs off the shelf
    • Financial systems /ERP implementations
    • ServiceNow implementations
    • Strategic portfolio management tools experience such as: Clarity, Asana or similar
    • Salesforce.com projects
    • Telephony projects
  • PMP certification
