Program Manager

 

Duration: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Salary Range: $140-145k

Location: San Antonio, TX

 

Day to Day:

Manage large, complex IT projects or programs with multiple work streams. Drive project scope definition and management, including creation of work breakdown structures. Prepare project timelines and schedules both at the project and program level. Create and track project budgets, including preparation of cost estimates and management of actual spend - both at the total project spend level and within year. Manage project stakeholders both internal to IT and in other departments. Identify risks and prepare mitigation and action plans. Surface roadblocks and issues that are impacting the project negatively. Prepare and deliver succinct presentations to executive leadership.

 

Requirements:
  • 7 + years experience with Project Management experience
  • 3 + years of Program Management experience
  • 5+ years dedicated to IT projects with a heavy focus on Application Development projects
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall projects
  • Budget Management / Financial Project Experience
  • Experience building and managing project budgets and understands Cap x vs Opps x
  • Professional presentation experience to internal, external and C-Level stakeholders

 

Additional Experience - not required:
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Portfolio Management tools experience
  • ServiceNow
  • SmartSheets
  • Custom applications
  • Financial systems /ERP implementations
  • Strategic portfolio management tools experience
