About the Opportunity:
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced ERP IT Project Manager to join our team remotely for a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role. In this critical role, you'll play a pivotal part in guiding our company's transition from QuickBooks to a robust ERP system.
You'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating with a third-party consultant to understand current workflows, departmental needs, and data integrations.
- Leading the needs analysis and system selection process, recommending the optimal ERP solution for our organization.
- Developing a comprehensive project plan for ERP implementation, including timelines, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Overseeing all aspects of the project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines, milestones, and quality standards.
- Effectively communicating project progress and updates to internal stakeholders (across departments) and C-level executives, using clear and concise presentations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT field.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing ERP financial systems.
- Experience migrating businesses from QuickBooks to a new ERP system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications (PMP, PgMP, etc.)
- Proficient in project management tools like SmartSheet
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry (a plus, not mandatory)
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and a history of successfully integrating Agile into Waterfall environments.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate of $70-$80.
