Job Description
Responsibilities:
Serves as the main support contact for the Epic application within the Inpatient team. Designs, builds, and tests the system to meet workflow requirements and address end-user needs. Provides technical expertise, project management, and guidance throughout the implementation and operation of the system. Manages and coordinates complex system tasks, including programming, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Must-Haves:
Serves as the main support contact for the Epic application within the Inpatient team. Designs, builds, and tests the system to meet workflow requirements and address end-user needs. Provides technical expertise, project management, and guidance throughout the implementation and operation of the system. Manages and coordinates complex system tasks, including programming, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Must-Haves:
- A minimum two years of professional experience building, testing, and analyzing inpatient ordering system workflows, order sets, and order panels for medical providers using Epic Orders, Clindocs, Grand Central, Willow, etc.
- Prior experience taking tickets from and consulting with healthcare workers on order sets, panels, etc.
- Professional experience creating BPAs (Best Practice Advisories, previously OPAs).
- Epic Inpatient Orders certification
- Bachelor's degree
- Non-Smoker
- Clinical Experience
- Professional experience using Bugsy
