Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to lead greenfield planning and design of a new Salesforce environment. This role will plan and design a scalable, secure Salesforce solution from the ground up, integrating Service Cloud Voice and telephony platforms to support omnichannel operations in support of a high-impact national call center initiative. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, strong development oversight capabilities, and demonstrated experience within Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) environments, particularly those handling sensitive data and complex call center integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for a greenfield Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud implementation, starting from standard feature sets and layering enhancements to meet business requirements.
  • Architect and oversee integration of Service Cloud Voice (Bring Your Own Telephony) with platforms such as Five9 or Amazon Connect (or similar PBX/call center technologies).
  • Design and validate scalable data models and blueprint solutions in collaboration with a concentrated team of developers, business analysts, and project management resources.
  • Provide hands-on technical oversight, including conducting code reviews in Apex and working with SOSL/SOQL queries.
  • Guide CI/CD and DevOps practices, including code deployment and management using Gearset.
  • Ensure compliance and secure handling of sensitive data and PII within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Support activation and implementation timelines for critical call center operations.
  • Provide strategic technical direction to developers while contributing selectively to coding efforts (Visualforce, Apex, Nonprofit modules).

Must-Haves
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) solutions.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce Service Cloud Voice with call center or omnichannel telephony solutions.
  • Strong Apex development experience, including code reviews and query optimization using SOSL and SOQL.
  • Experience designing Salesforce data models in greenfield implementations.
  • Adept understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
  • Experience working with highly sensitive data and PII in secure, regulated environments.
  • A minimum of one active Salesforce certification.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Salesforce Technical Architect certifications, particularly Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Five9, Amazon Connect, or comparable enterprise call center technologies.
  • Experience managing or mentoring small technical teams (2–3 developers) in complex implementations.
  • Familiarity with large-scale call center transitions or rapid activation timelines.
