Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Writer to support a large-scale call center operationalization program. This role will partner closely with the Program Manager, technical teams, and customer stakeholders to develop clear, structured, and compliant documentation supporting Salesforce-based solutions and contact center operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience writing technical and functional documentation in regulated environments and is comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams to translate complex source material into polished deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Develop, draft, and maintain high-quality technical and operational documentation supporting a Salesforce-driven call center implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer representatives to gather information and produce accurate documentation.
- Translate source materials, requirements, and technical input into structured, user-friendly documentation.
- Maintain documentation repositories using Jira and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Produce documents using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio, including process flows, diagrams, and structured narratives.
- Apply formatting standards using macros and ribbon-based automation tools (e.g., redlining, paragraph formatting, table shading, structured layouts).
- Ensure documentation meets Section 508 accessibility compliance standards, including proper referencing and footnote usage.
- Support documentation efforts across the full project lifecycle without responsibility for final editorial or formatting passes.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer supporting Salesforce implementations.
- Strong ability to interview stakeholders and synthesize technical and business information into clear documentation.
- Experience working with documentation repositories and collaboration tools such as Jira and SharePoint.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Experience working with document macros, structured templates, and redlining processes.
- Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments with technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility compliance standards and structured documentation practices.
- Prior experience supporting contact center initiatives or service delivery environments.
- Experience working in government or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with documentation standards for large-scale enterprise or public-sector programs.
