You will collaborate closely with Systems Architects and Systems Engineers to implement new technologies and support the existing operational environment, which spans on-premise data centers, cloud platforms, and various SaaS applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and upgrade enterprise technologies across a broad range of platforms.

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to join our client's Information Technology team. You will collaborate closely with Systems Architects and Systems Engineers to implement new technologies and support the existing operational environment, which spans on-premise data centers, cloud platforms, and various SaaS applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and upgrade enterprise technologies across a broad range of platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Systems Architects and Engineers to introduce and integrate new technologies into the UH IT ecosystem.
- Oversee and maintain the existing IT infrastructure, including both on-premise and cloud-based environments such as UH data centers, SaaS platforms, and public cloud systems.
- Manage the implementation, upgrading, and maintenance of critical enterprise technologies, including but not limited to:
- VMware vSphere
- CyberArk Privileged Account Management
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
- Cisco UCS Computing Platform
- Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Red Hat Ansible & Ansible Tower
- Splunk Enterprise
- SolarWinds Systems Management
- Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of key infrastructure, conducting updates and system monitoring as needed.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with other team members to document resolutions.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and configuration management using various tools.
- Stay informed about new technological trends and best practices to enhance the UH IT environment.
- Provide expert technical support for enterprise applications while ensuring adherence to security and governance policies.
