Agile Coach Consultant
Duration: 10+ month contract with very possible extension
Location: Austin, TX – offering a lot of remote flex if you are willing to come onsite some.
Ideal Experience:
Day to Day: As an Agile Coach, you will work with teams and individuals to implement agile methodologies and frameworks that enable us to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be an expert in agile principles, practices, and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe, with a track record of success coaching and mentoring teams.
Project: This person will be working on the number 2 companywide focused project – Product Transformation! They will be working on scaling products within the company. This person would also be focused on product transformation (reviewing the development lifecycle, work with the product team to help facilitate conversations around the tech lifecycle), updating the business processes and being able to truly scale their product development as a company. There is an executive Product transformation team in place that is meeting weekly, and this person would be working with them in addition to the agile supervisor. They have an agile office currently in place. They are revamping there “Scrum teams” to have a Scrum master, developers, testers, and product owners. BA’s will not “sit in the scrum team”. They will work with them but not sit in it on a daily; they will sit more in the business side.

Ideal Experience:
- 5+ years of Agile Coach/Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager experience
- In depth knowledge of Agile Methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Strong coaching/mentoring skills with the ability to work with multiple teams through the adoption of agile.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana
- Relevant Certifications (CSM, CSP, SAFe Agilist, etc.)
- Insurance Industry experience
