Location: Hybrid - Must live within 70 miles from San Antonio, TX.
Duration: 10 months
Pay Rate: $65-$75/ hr.
Position Overview: As a Change Manager specializing in Workday implementation, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational transformation through effective change management practices. You will be responsible for leading change initiatives associated with the adoption of Workday solutions across our organization, ensuring smooth transitions and maximizing employee engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans tailored to the specific needs of Workday implementation projects.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to define change management objectives, assess change readiness, and identify potential risks and obstacles.
- Lead change impact assessments to understand the implications of Workday solutions on business processes, systems, and people.
- Create communication plans and materials to promote awareness of changes and foster understanding and acceptance among employees.
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops to build capability and ensure successful adoption of Workday applications.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders to enhance their change leadership skills and ability to drive change within their teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives, gathering feedback and making adjustments as necessary to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on change management best practices and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Change Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on large-scale system implementations, preferably Workday.
- Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute change management plans that drive adoption and minimize resistance.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively address them.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) and/or Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM, Finance) are highly desirable.
- Workday software implementation experience
- Human Resources and Payroll knowledge
- PMP Certification
